Ode

Ode to Rain: I chose Rain because most people don't like Rain. Rain causes many problems such as floods, traffic jams, power cuts, etc. However, I didn't think like that; I believe Rain can be our friend, and the best thing is that Rain enhances my happiness.

Ode to Sushi: The main reason I chose sushi is because of the taste. The delicious heaven taste. I could never describe that amazing taste. But this ode may.

We were given the assignment to write down our own 'Ode.' It can be about anything we like. We've looked at the example of the 'Ode To The Onion,' written by Pablo Neruda. I've chosen Rain and Sushi.

Ode to Rain

Ode to rain

Darkening sky;

stay by very high.

fulfilled with water-

acting as an explorer;

going everywhere.

Hiding behind the Sun.

You are dark-

but your sound is best

May get sick;

But never get bore

if sometimes, then why not today?

Please don’t go away,

You should come back tomorrow;

and bring out my sorrow-

Some might like sunny,

But you are like my bestie.

you’re my friend;

that I never want to end-

Falling down

Following gravity

Fulling the town-

but removing my anxiety

The sound of dip;

into the ground-

just satisfies my life

so much-

Ode to Sushi

up fresh upon the sea;

but come only for me,

One roll,

but into eight pieces.

A perfect combination:

sparkling pink meat,

with spicy mayo-

placed at the core.

bathed in the salty brown sea,

and put more wasabi.

The feeling of enthusiasm;

followed by my tears-

I am crying;

not for sad,

but for food.

I can’t look over you,
